A turnaround leaves two people holding a luggage tag and half a day nobody planned for, and that half day is a better hour for her than a late one. Betsy is twenty-three and lives in the Centrum, so a day room near the water is a short ride rather than an expedition. Corridors carry sound in the middle of the afternoon, and she keeps a session quiet enough that the room next door learns nothing at all from it.
